  • Earth Hour 2014

    On Friday, 28 March 2014 JIMS Early Years celebrated Earth Hour. We turned off the electricity for an hour. We read a book of Dora Helps Save The Earth and encouraged the students to save water when washing hands, put rubbish in the bin after eating snacks, and spend more time playing outdoors. We also had a picnic by the elephant (Ganesha) statue to celebrate Earth Day.

  • Primary Year 5 PYP Exhibition

    In their final year of the IB Primary Years Programme, all students are expected to take part in a trans-disciplinary inquiry conducted in the spirit of personal and shared responsibility. The work resulting from this inquiry will be displayed in an exhibition that all members of our school community will be invited to attend. The exhibition provides a culminating experience that captures the essence of the PYP and marks a rite of passage, both symbolic and actual from PYP to Secondary School. On...

  • JIMS contributes in The National Water Polo Competition Under 19

    The National Water Polo Competition Under 19  Championships is a much awaited annual sports event in most Secondary School Calendars. JIMS participated by sending 2 Secondary students to the DKI Water Polo National team under-19. They were Taufan Abbi Perkasa (Year 8) and Dimas Tristan Till (Year 11).  The competition was held on 15 September 2014 where participants came from 5 provinces (DKI Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Jambi, West Java and East Java) defending their home town.
